When is a dot com essential

I drove down a main road near my home and discovered about 2 blocks from a local nursery entrance placed this character.  It caught my eye and remained spirit in mind for days.  The website could use some serious work, but the domain was perfect for the situation.   "WantMulch.com" is very effective.  It has some of the most important features in a quality domain name. Easy to remember, short (just 2 short words) descriptive (if you want dead mulch, well it's to), there is a dot com

  That last one is a big.  There is a dot com.  If you drive through are and remember what was the domain, if you want to get home, you want to have to do with any TLD except dot com.  Placing anything physical signs and risk the chance to send your company to the owners of the dot com.  I've seen some search domain name if I could find a better.  The best I could come up with, was available for registration RedMulch.net was and it is even better.  Admittedly, I don't have much time spend on this exercise, but you get the point.  WantMulch.com is a pretty splice use of a name.I was impressed that this nursery plants whose main business is named kam.Und remember on one physical signs or a billboard, if you're going advertising a dot com is essential.
