Frager break: Freak accident confines blogger to bed but his fingers are still flying
Marketing maven Owen Frager has always known how to attention to get. His provocative headlines attract a steady stream of readers to his blog - the Frager Factor - so at last Tuesday
(Dec. 21) when I have a note he say on Facebook read posted, that he in the emergency room of a pack of pounding dogs hit was, I did not know what you think! This was a sort of lightning metaphor meant to attract more eyeballs or had Owen was actually mowed down by a band of marauding Mutts? Unfortunately, it turned out to be the latter - Frager's break was not a fantasy of his immense imagination. While taking one his usual walks through a Frager near nearby dog park he said stopped to check e-Mail on his phone. Was not selected during his back and diverted his attention to his messages, a pack of more than a dozen dogs running full speed ahead plowed back in Frager and sent him through the air. If he ended up crashing the concrete cracked a bone in his foot, send him to the hospital, where he with a cast, a stroller and a drive to avoid cultivation liquidation for the next six weeks. TheFragerFactor.com there might be some more bad news ahead. Doctors are to determine whether or not it will take surgery to repair the damage. Frager expected to get a final judgment on this Wednesday. It is at home in bed in the meantime presented but not totally disabled. In fact with a little more time of his hands as he wants it is churning from articles in a furious pace. Frager is currently in the Middle by a padlock series called domaining's most fascinating people. Each piece is a profile of a domain investor or developer, was particularly competent to combine your domain assets with masterful marketing. The latest rate published featured bobbleheads.com owner Warren Royal Sunday. You will also find a list of ten people profile, in the second half of the series. I am sure that those who enjoy his tremendous current output are grateful that questioner's foot the brunt of absorbed his unfortunate crash, intact, soldier on his fingers.
Morgan Linton
There is another blog series - this one a two-parter published by Morgan Linton at Christmas weekend that I really enjoyed reading. It started about 22 domainers that changed my life wrote as Linton Christmas Eve. For this issue, some further thoughts, Linton with a second part continued Sunday, featured 8 more capsule tributes to people that him along the way have helped.
Like Morgan, I have always impressed by as helpful as many industry veterans with new people, the business with an positive attitude and a sincere desire to learn are to give. Find someone with more positive energy as Morgan, so I'm not surprised that he was from so many other received with open arms. In turn, he gave so generously together, what he has learned to others who read on his blog or see the very informative video interviews, he has produced.
People come and go in this business for the past eight years, is it those qualities such as Morgans have (and he commented on dozens of people), who increased consistently at the top. Learning by example is a tried and true way to success and in his new articles Morgan has put spotlight on a number of people I think we could all do well to emulate.
